Zoë Kravitz just stepped out for a walk in New York City, and naturally everyone is busy zooming into her engagement ring from Harry Styles. This is our first super up-close (and pretty clear!) look at the diamond, which is, to put it bluntly, huge. And while initial speculation placed the value of the ring at around $355,000, experts are now saying it’s worth more like $1 million.
The Daily Mail spoke to Chris from The Diamond Bank in Los Angeles, who said “Zoë’s ring looks to be a ten-carat oval-shaped diamond set in yellow gold. It was probably custom-made and costs around $1 million. It is bezel set, which is popular these days.”
The Daily Mail also reports that Harry gave Zoë an “old-fashioned, romantic” proposal, and she said yes right away because she’s “madly in love with him” and appreciates that he “supports her in a beautiful, kind way.”
Zoë and Harry have been dating for about nine months (since August of last year), so they’ve moved pretty quickly! A few months ago in February, a source told People that the pair “seem very serious and focused on prioritizing time together. They also seem to have created a life together that they both genuinely enjoy.”
Meanwhile, an insider who confirmed the couple’s engagement to Page Six notes that Harry “is completely smitten, he would jump off a cliff for her,” while Zoë “is on cloud nine” and “no one in their circle is surprised” by their engagement.
